I want to wish you a very merry Christmas on behalf of all the staff here at Thoughts Media! If you celebrate Hanukka, Kwanzaa, or any other special event related to this time of year, may it be a special time for you and your family. I wish you all a time of peace and happiness over the next couple of days (and beyond that too of course!). We won't be posting news on the 25th, but will resume things on the 26th. Merry Christmas to you all!

If you celebrated Christmas, how was it for you? Did you get any fun electronic goodies, or anything special? Or did you do anything special? My Christmas was nice: we spent a lot of time together as a family, visiting and talking. I didn't get much in the way of electronics (the expensive stuff I tend to buy myself), but I did get a lot of DVDs, books, graphic novels, clothes, food, and an assortment of interesting things like custom-framed classic Marvel Comic covers (reproduced in postcard form), a cool multi-photo frame, and an Amazon.ca gift certificate that I gleefully spent today on more books, CDs, and DVDs. I also spent a lot of time working on things related to our new server, which hopefully I'll announce tomorrow...

For those of you who celebrate Christmas, I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. For those of you who do not celebrate Christmas, I wish you happy holidays. We'll return to our regularly scheduled news posting on the 26th. I hope everyone has a great couple of days!

It's always great to take a break from major reviews and instead divert attention to the average consumer and what his/her thoughts on the Zune are. Jill England received a Zune for Christmas, and naturally, she was skeptical at first, but decided to take the plunge, anyway. Three days later, the Zune is a device she loves and a device she wants to keep. The drawing points? The large screen, the eye-catching UI, and even the FM radio tuner. For those of you who received a Zune for Christmas, are you in the same boat? Is it a device you're happy with?

So what gifts did yesterday bring? It doesn't even have to be Zune related, or technology related! Of course, I know not everyone celebrates Christmas, so share the festivities and gifts (mostly gifts!) you enjoyed on your particular holiday.
