Amazon.com's Black Friday Deals

Posted by Jason Dunn in "Digital Home Events" @ 09:47 AM

http://www.amazon.com/b/?node=38408...homethoughts-20

"You shouldn't have to stand in a long line to get a great deal. We're searching for the best Black Friday deals everywhere--including deals other stores are planning--so we can meet or beat their prices and bring them to you even earlier. These limited-supply offers will go quickly but we'll add new ones throughout the day, every day this week, so you can skip the long lines and still save a bundle."

Amazon.com has some great deals today (Fuji Finepix camera for $79 anyone?), so if you're going to do some online shopping at Amazon, do me a favour and use our affiliate link. It costs you nothing, but gives back a bit to the sites that you enjoy. Thanks! :-)

Cheap Zunes, Car Pack at Woot

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 11:00 PM

http://www.woot.com

Getting half off most Zune accessories is cool, but getting a Zune and a Home A/V kit for just $150 is awesome. For today only (until midnight, Central time, or whenever they run out), Woot will be selling a refurbished Zune 80 and new Home/AV kit, and for just $10, they're also selling a brand-spanking-new Car Pack for just $10 (plus $5 shipping), both of which retail for several times that amount. I'm thinking of picking up an FM Kit just because they're that useful. But on the whole, pretty cool, eh?

Zunes at Woot: Cheap Cheap Cheap!

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 11:30 PM

http://www.woot.com

Deals site Woot.com is offering up refurbished (Microsoft Recertified) Zune 30s for just $80 plus $5 shipping. That's a whole 30 gigabytes of fun and an awesome scratch-proof casing. Not to mention the latest Zune software update: quite a bargain! If nothing else, you might want to check Woot to see their infamous ad copy ruthlessly mock the 30 GB model and its inability to keep time this past New Years. That, and the excellent v2 Car Pack is available for just $10 plus $5 shipping from sister site sellout.Woot.com. As with all Woots, it's only sold until the end of the day or they run out--whichever comes first. And judging by past sales, this tends to happen pretty quickly.

There's a thread over at ZuneBoards listing all of the Zune "Cyber Monday" deals. Cyber Monday is the internet version of Black Friday. Brand New Red Zune, $200 on Sellout Woot

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 10:09 PM

http://sellout.woot.com/Default.asp...cea88e1a8db630d

Typically when Woot sells expensive electronics, the devices are refurbished or in some way lesser quality (or brand) than their in-store counterparts. This time, Woot's got a brand-new Red Zune80 for only $200 (plus $5 for shipping). While $50 off sticker price isn't huge for Woot, you know this isn't going to last. Grab your Zunes before they're gone!

Zune's Back On Woot: Get Yours For $129.99!!

Posted by Adam Krebs in "Zune Buy & Sell" @ 10:10 PM

http://www.Woot.com

"I have received more than three emails from Zune buyers who are upset about Woot dropping the price of the Zune by $20 one month after it went on sale the first time. After reading every one of these emails, or at least scanning their subject lines, I have some observations and conclusions. First, I need to make a better effort to hide my email address. Second, I am sure that we are making the correct decision to lower the price of the 30GB Zune from $149.99 to $129.99."

Woot.com has pulled through again, lowering their already incredibly low price to correspond with Microsoft's official price drop. The new price is almost half the original suggested retail price, making this one amazing value. A few caveats: they're only selling white Zunes, they're only available today, and once they're gone, they're gone.

Well, what are you waiting for? Get clicking!

If that weren't enough, they were able to make fun of Steve Jobs' iPhone price drop apology, and give Wooters who bought the Zune last time around a $10 credit to any Woot $40 or more. How do you like them apples?

UPDATE: It's Gone, all Gone! Congrats to everyone who was able to beat the rush.
